Policies and Website Information

It is the desire of SmallEngineEquipmentParts.com owners to give you customer support in the most efficient manner possible to insure our prices are competitive. In doing that, here are the guidelines that we have put forward to help you understand our business approach.


We have three methods of contacting us.  Since we are a small company with limited staff, we will answer you through our Contact Form, return messages left on our Toll Free phone voice message, or via our LIve Support chat / message system.  We work at getting orders out the door and do not have fulltime live customer service representatives.  


Information gathered during the use of this website is for the express purpose of processing orders for products listed.  Your personal information is kept confidential and secure as assured by technical application to the host servers.

Credit card information during the purchase is encrypted, sent to the card processor, and then truncated to the last 4 digits and expiration date. We do not store your full credit card number once your order has been confirmed and approved during the checkout process.

Any emails or phone communications are designed to discuss potential or existing orders and do not reflect the use of a mailing list or other promotional effort on our part.

Our servers are monitored and secured by third party providers at our expense to make sure your information is secure.

Order Processing

During the checkout process the order is reviewable before credit card information is entered.  You may modify an order up to the point of submitting it for credit card approval. Once an approval is given, the amount is authorized, your credit card numbers are truncated to the last 4 digits which means the full card number is not retained by us which is for your security.

An order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. If you did not provide an email and would like to know the status of your order, use the Contact Us form and a tracking number will be provided.

The credit card is approved for the amount of the order when it is placed but is not charged until the order is shipped.

Once orders are placed, they cannot easily be cancelled as we work diligently to get them shipped ASAP.  If the order has been packaged and placed with the carrier, we cannot stop the process.

Shipping Location

Orders are released for shipment from Virginia, Kentucky, and Georgia warehouses based on product availability, proximity to delivery address, and other distribution rules. Orders are processed on business days, Monday – Friiday. Weekend and Holiday day orders process but only ship on the next closest business day.

Shipping Rates - Tracking

UPS / USPS flat rates for the continental US and Canada are available for most products.  Those products requiring additional shipping have it notated in their product descriptions. Hawaii, Alaska, off-shore US territories, and international destinations require a shipping rate quote before a purchase is made. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not comply with standard UPS or USPS shipping policy.

We will provide to you upon shipment a tracking number generated by UPS or USPS. We do not guarantee a delivery date but attempt to make the most current information available after shipping your order.  Once a package is determined to be missing, we will reship your order at no additional charge.


We automatically generate sales tax for the State of Tennessee. You are responsible for any state or local taxes or fees required by your jurisdiction on orders shipped outside of Tennessee.


Prices for Oregon® parts are sold based on United States currency. These prices are subject to change without notice.

Returns and Return Material Authorization (RMA)

Any order that needs to be returned must be approved within 15 days of the original shipment date. Returns are possible for these situations andunder these conditons:

  • Defective products - Oregon® parts are warranted to be free of defect.  See Warranty below for details.
  • Product ordered by mistake – we will work to resolve any order mistakes that either you or we make. There are limited occasions when a re-stocking fee is applied as noted below.
  • Product in new condition – any returns are subject to approval based on the condition upon arrival to our offices.
  • Returns must be not be installed, used, or outside of original packaging.
  • NO RETURNS ON ELECTRICAL products that have been taken out of their packaging or installed.

Before returning merchandise, you must request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.  Once you receive the RMA documents, follow the instructions as pertains to the packing slip, label, and shipping. When an RMA is issued, the type of action to be taken will be discussed based on the situations. Return shipping will initially be your responsibility unless it was determined to be our responsibility. Credit will be issued within 5 business day upon receipt of package to the original credit card when the product is received in new condition. Bottom line, we will do everything possible to give you a full refund including shipping for the original order.

Orders returned by the carrier due to non-deliverable address will incur a charge for outbound shipping and a 20% restocking fee. A credit for the original transaction will be processed within 24 hours of the return, less these fees.

Damaged Packages

If an order is received and the package has external damage, it should be reported to the carrier immediately.  It is the responsibility of you, the purchaser not us as the shipper, to make claims with the carrier for damage. We will provide tracking and other information as available.  Internal damage is to be reported within 10 days by using the Contact Us form on the website.

Shipment Errors and Shortages

Any discrepancies in the original order must be reported within 10 days of shipment date. Use the Contact Form or call our toll free number to alert us to the situation


Oregon® warrants all products to be free of manufacturer defect under certain conditions.  For a full listing of the warranty, see Oregon® Customer Satisfaction Policy pdf file.

Product Liability

Internet Properties Partnership, DBA SmallEngineEquipmentParts.com shall not be liable for any damages, incidental or consequential, as a result of a purchase or use of a product bought from this website or over the phone.
